Hi...
Has anyone run in to similar problem...
When using E3D volcano with the 1.2mm nozzle, 0.9mm layer height and 1.44mm extrusion width and simplify 3D v.2.2.2 Material PLA.
All the holes become way too small like the path compensation dosen't get that large nozzle/extrusion width? My bet is that the compensation formula wasn't designed for this kind of big nozzles.
Is the Simplify 3D formula something like this? http://reprap.org/wiki/ArcCompensation
Some basic answers:
Yes extrusion width is on 0.01mm tolerance.
Someone ask printing too fast=No been printing calibrating prints slowly.
All the axis on the machine are direct balls crew driven for maximum accuracy.
