printing thin/small

hi,

I'm looking for simplify 3d parameters to adjust when printing very small/thin objects. Some of the objects are text with thin walls. Some of the problems I'm having are gaps and the object being too fragile to remove from the build plate.

Just from reading what I could find online here is what I've come up with:

infill tab:
interior fill percentage (%) - try 100%?
outline overlap
minimum infill length - try a very low value?

advanced tab:
thin wall behavior
only use perimeters for thin walls
allow gap fill when necessary - pick this option
Allowed perimeter overlap (%) - ???

Anyone have any suggestions?

thanks,
Dave

Re: printing thin/small

whenever printing text be sure to only use a single perimeter. also lower you extrusion width. do not go below the nozzle dia with that value. for infill turn the outline overlap up a little. 30-40%. for thin wall behavior you can crank that up a little as well. probably about the same value as the overlap. the biggest help will be printing a single perimeter
