flexible material support

Hello,

Here is my current setup

Davinci 1.0A
rep 0.92 firmware
filament guide http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:553917

I would like to print some flex materials and have had limited success. Here is what I observed so far

the material can load fine, it pushes out in a long string as expected. With the filament guide installed it does not buckle in the gears.
I managed to print a small house about 5 layers high, till the filament just stops coming out. the material isn't buckled, nor does it
have a huge glob ball at the end when it's pulled out.

If I go to load filament immediately after it stops coming out, it loads just fine again.

So my question, is there a way to mimic the load/unload settings to print? Can the problem be the filament isn't being sent fast enough out the nozzle, or is the filament being restricted in some of the settings? Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jim

Re: flexible material support

I was using ninja flex filament and getting a lot of air prints. I found that you really have to print this stuff SLOWLY to get it to print at all. Try reducing the speed to 2000mm/min and see what happens. I've attached my slicer settings for NinjaFlex SemiFlex as a reference.
