DaVinci Duo 2.0A is ignoring temp setpoint

Hi! I have a DaVinci Duo 2.0A, and overall I have been very satisfied with the quality. However my layers aren't bonding well and I have seen some delamination due (I believe) to temperature. In Simplify3D I have the layer 1 setpoint temp at 230 F. The machine heats up and past 230 but once it starts printing it drops to 215 and stays in that neighborhood. I looked at my g-code and it does specify 230 for the extruder temp, but the machine is ignoring that once printing begins. Any idea of why this is happening?

The initial temperature for the bed and extruder are dictated by the specific cartridge loaded. If you choose different temperatures, the printer will heat up to the temperature stored in the cartridge, then begin printing, and then go to whatever temperature you have put inside the process.
