Printed Model has a gap. Why?

I'm having a hell of a time printing this robot hand. I'm getting a gap at the top (circled in red) and I don't know why:

Any advice? Factory file attached.


Layer Height: .1mm
Solid Top/Bottom Layers: 4
Perimeter: 2
Fill: 100%

I think the model had non-manifold edges. Slicing the model attached(repaired) worked better when I tested.

Thanks for taking a look! What method did use to fix it? I'd like to know for future reference.

Also curious how you were able to find it - at least in the Simplify3D preview it looks like there are no gaps at all.

Do you generally run all your models through that service before printing or wait until you see a problem first? Have you ever had it "fix" something that actually *created* a problem that didn't previously exist?

I generally use that site when I can't otherwise explain why something is happening. If the issue can't be linked to my settings, or my machine, then it's typically the model.
