Thanks for this suggestion, I did the mesh repair and still the legs disappeared, the best solution was to adjust the wall thickness, the tolerance in S3D is lower than in other software, or to put it the other way, S3D calculates better, and isn't that forgiving. The CAD design has to be spot on. I work in Rhino 3D, what do you use?

Thanks this is the formula I was looking for. That can be of great help evaluating the model.

Your extrusion width setting is actually what controls if it prints or not so try not to make walls in your parts smaller than the width x2. There is a little fudge factor there because s3d will overlap the inner and outer surfaces to make a thinner wall but there is really only so far it can go. In the advanced tab there is your thin wall overlap setting. With a .4 nozzle avoid walls lass than .8mm

In 3.0 we now have the ability to split interconnected meshes!
