You can do that by just editing your process setting and selecting a new profile. In the Gcode tab of each profile it can be setup so it'll change your firmware configuration, baud rate and build parameters on the screen so you'll be good to go when you change profiles.bone wrote:I have different styles of printers, both cartesian and delta, and it would be nice to be able to quickly and easily swap back and forth between the makes, models, bed sizes, etc. I would like to see something where I can set up a personal library of printers that I can toggle through.

This process is confusing and unintuitive because the boxes that update machine settings and firmware are not ticked by default. At least for one of my printers they weren't. I spent like an hour trying to figure out how to switch between machines and have it update, and the response from most people online was just to use the configuration assistant every time (which deletes your processes so I had to keep starting from scratch). This should tell you that most people are just as confused as we all are. For some reason, the boxes you have to check to make this work are in the gcode tab, which isn't even visible unless you look in the advanced settings. Please tell the devs to check these boxes for every printer by default, add a "machine settings" tab, or at least have a warning pop up if they aren't checked when you switch between different machines. The fact that this process is less intuitive on a $150 piece of software than it is on free software like Cura doesn't make sense.Switching between printer profiles is easy! From your edit process settings window select the profile of the printer you want to print with from your "Select Profile" drop down menu.
