Leapfrog Creatr HS Connection Issue/USB Driver Error

I am trying to setup a Leapfrog Creatr HS and am having trouble with the USB connection. Initially I can connect to the printer and heat the extruder/move the bed around and have no issues. Then after a few minutes if I try to continue to use the machine control panel, I will loose the connection. I cannot reconnect to the printer unless I power cycle the printer and restart the software. I am using windows 7 and have all of the latest drivers that Leapfrog recommends on their website. Has anybody had this issue and or fixed it. I am brand new to the world of 3d printing and any advice or help is very appreciated.

I have included a snip of the problem that I see in the machine control panel.

Thanks!

Hmm... I have never seen that from the leapfrog USB driver before. I wonder if they messed something up with their latest driver...

Can you connect and communicate to the printer from something like the Arduino IDE serial monitor?

Re: Leapfrog Creatr HS Connection Issue/USB Driver Error

Did you ever get the USB connect issue resolved?

I have issues with all my 3d printers connect with USB, especially my Ultimaker 2 which Ultimaker does not officially support USB Connections.

Are you running under Windows or Mac and which version?

I have less problems when using my Mac and more problems on my PC, I think the PC issues have more to do with Windows 8.1 than anything else.

I read about increasing the buffer size for LeapFrog but I can't remember where or to what size.

Regards,
Peter
