Logitech G13 / Analog PC Joystick Support

The Logitech G13 is a popular analog joystick / keypad with LCD screen used with PCs and a lot of home CNCs. I have found it very useful to have joystick control, especially analog joystick control, of X and Y axis. There are more buttons around the main joystick which would allow control of the Z-axis, also (at preset rates).

How could one use an analog joystick on the PC to control X/Y movement, and/or set a hotkey to perform a movement function of the print head with a Rambo controlled printer? I am using a Makergear M2 model printer.

This feature would be spectacular for those of us who mount leveling devices in the print head to level our beds. Using a joystick would simply save time, and the Logitech G13 has an informative screen that many apps actually implement. Would be very interesting to see the head position displayed on the G13 LCD screen. I know smaller companies have done software for this device, so it may be fairly lightweight firmware to make modifications for--I'm guessing.

What do you developers think about this?

Thanks for hearing my idea, anyways.

HAPPY 4TH, MAY FIREWORKS FLY! :D
