gcode start

Hi,

i like to start printing like in cura:

G28 Z0 ;move Z to min endstops
G1 Z15.0 F9000 ;move the platform down 15mm
G92 E0 ;zero the extruded length
G1 F200 E3 ;extrude 3mm of feed stock
G92 E0 ;zero the extruded length again
G1 F9000
;Put printing message on LCD screen
M117 Printing...

;Layer count: 14
;LAYER:0
M106 S255
G0 F9000 X152.66 Y296.52 Z0.70
;TYPE:SKIRT

after homing (g28) raise nozzle (z15) and then go to start coordinate in all 3 axis (G0 F9000 X152.66 Y296.52 Z0.70).
Is there a option in smplify3d?
Thank you
best regards

Re: gcode start

Just put that in your starting script (click "edit process settings", and click on the Scripts tab)

Re: gcode start

Thank you, I know what you mean, but the first point, in that case x152,66 and y 296,52 is on every model another, because every model has another size. The slicing software calculates that point, so I mean I can't write it in my start gcode script.

Re: gcode start

Yes, and the software will automatically include that. Just add the commands below into your starting G-Code script

Code: Select all

G28 Z0 ; move Z to min endstops
G1 Z15.0 F9000 ; move the platform down 15mm
G92 E0 ; zero the extruded length
G1 F200 E3 ; extrude 3mm of feed stock
G92 E0 ; zero the extruded length again
G1 F9000
