Skirt/Brim settings linked to Material

I think the Skirt/Brim settings should be linked to the material chosen. I need a large brim when printing with ABS, but only a small skirt when printing with PLA. In the software version 3.0, that isn't linked when I choose my material.
When I choose ABS, I'd like the brim option (no offset) to come up automatically, and similarly when PLA is chosen, the skirt offset should be automatically selected.

I may be missing something, but can't you just select whichever extruder you want for the skirt/brim, and then print the part with the other extruder?

Re: Skirt/Brim settings linked to Material

Yep sorry that's not what I meant.
Assuming I am using only my right extruder, I'd like a skirt when using PLA and a brim when using ABS. So my suggestion is to link up the choice of material at the top to the settings page to the additions tab so that I don't have to manually change it every time I change my material.
Currently the change in material changes the temperature, cooling settings etc. but not the additions tab. This sounds like I'm being lazy  but I've often forgotten to change the skirt into a brim when changing into an ABS filament and my printed part comes out warped.
