One of the problems I have when setting up a print is figuring out where on the print bed to put glue. I think it would be awesome if instead of the plain grey bed image, we could import images. This way I could have an image of what my bed looks like, view it from the top, and easily decide where I need to place the glue for the whole project to stick.
hmmm, we had someone on the makergear forum awhile back do this. i cant remember how they did it though. in any case atleast if the default grid was actual measurements. cm or inches depending on how you have s3d set. that would be great.
The latest v3.0 version now allows you to add a custom STL file that defines your printer bed. You can change these options by going to tools > options, Machine tab, and adding a Printer Model at the bottom
so for the CubePro DUO i find out the Bed.stl under the Programfolder of the cubify-software.
Then the Build-Volume of the DUO is:
229 mm (b) x 273 mm (l) x 241 mm (h)
