Other UX changes that would be nice

1) Modal windows that don't need to be modal. Perfect example is "Edit Process settings" window. When this is open you can't use the printer control panel to turn on or off the heated bed for example. That's stupid.
2) Column sizes don't save. "Processes" list for example has Name and the pointless "Type" column. My preference would be to kill Type altogether as I've never seen it say anything other than FFF, but if it must stay, can you remember where I set the column widths so I can read the names I've assigned?
3) Multi-select Models for moving. Currently I can't select more than one model and move it with the mouse. Ideally I'd like to select multiple models and enter, for example, a common scaling factor in the dialog, but this is actually slightly complicated. At least it would be nice to multi-select and be able to move the group with the mouse.
4) If you use CTRL+ Mouse to move an item it snaps the window to a top down 0,0 bottom left orientation and then snaps back when you release the mouse button. This is a bit nasty because it doesn't snap until you start moving the mouse. If you currently have the view set with 0,0 at the top right (for no good reason), you move the mouse right to initiate the move, the view snaps and the item moves up (not right as I wanted). It means you can't make small manual changes easily. Personally I'd just switch off the view snap, but if you want to keep it, it would be nice if it didn't snap back. Probably contentious, so a configuration option might be in order.

Re: Other UX changes that would be nice

As of version 3.0, you can now easily select and move multiple models at once. When moving a model, the view also remains constant and no longer snaps to the top-down view.
