[ADDED] Shortcut keys

The delete key should remove the selected model. I should be able to duplicate it with "Ctrl+D". I'd love shortcut keys to move and rotate the model as well. Just little usability issues like that.

I'd also like it if the software were a little more part centered instead of "factory" centered.

Re: Shortcut keys

There are already shortcut keys to move, rotate, and scale the parts. If you haven't seen these before, I believe you can find details in the quick start guide. You can open this by going to Help > Quick Start Guide or browsing to your installation folder.

Re: Shortcut keys

huh. Odd that there's no indication of them in the UI itself.

The UI for S3D in general is... lacking. I'm glad to know this option is there somewhere but it would be nice if I didn't need to read a 12 page manual to find that out.

Re: Shortcut keys

i think it would be great if most software had a list of hot keys or shortcuts listed. god knows i can never remember half of them for 10% of the programs i use but i dont know 1 piece of software that has anything listed without going into a manual, help or options list of some sort. i know it was a couple months of use before i figured out s3d had any avail.

Re: Shortcut keys

Dozens of shortcut keys were added in the latest 3.0 version including copy/paste, delete, undo, duplicate, etc. You can click on the toolbar menus to see the listed shortcuts.
