[ADDED] Indicator for front of build platform

Can we get an option to enable a small indicator icon for the front of the build table similar to what Cubify, FlashForge or Makerbot software have? I know we have the Y axis arrow but that easily gets occluded by parts on the table. Nothing too prominent, just a small triangle or square shape to make the front edge instantly identifiable.

in the preferences, go under machine and change your origin offsets all to zero.......or however you want. your parts will be dropped on the corner of your build platform instead of dead center so just hit center and arrange.

That sounds like an interesting option, but what I'm talking about is a permanent icon so you can always see an indication of the front of the table. Or maybe a strip of another color along front edge.

Yes that will move the axis icon to the front corner of your table.

Version 3.0 now includes the ability to display an STL file as your printer's build surface. This makes it quite easy to identify the front from the back. Go to Tools > Options, select the Machine tab, and add a Printer Model to enable the feature.
