In version 3 it appears that it is no longer possible to set the external rectilinear fill angle as it was in version 2, just the internal fill angle. The Infill Angle Offsets on the Infill tab of the process settings used to apply to both the Internal and External fill. Instead, now the rectilinear External fill just defaults to 45 and -45 degrees with no way to change it. It is important to have control over this angle in a lot of situations both for strength of parts and aesthetics of the surface finish.
I propose a change to regain this functionality by adding one of the following:
1) A separate Infill Angle Offset box in addition to the existing one used for the external infill angles
2) Adding logic so that if both the external and internal infill are set to Rectilinear, the angle settings will apply to both. This is NOT the preferred option, because unlike the first, if the internal infill is not set to rectilinear the external will again default back to 45, -45 degrees
Is there actually a way to set these angles? Or did I somehow just completely miss it?
