Rafts affect on Temp and Cooling Settings?

When adding a Raft, how do the Temperature and Cooling settings correlate to the overall project?

For instance if extruder temp is set to change at layer 5, and a 5 layer raft is added. Does the temp change take effect immediately after the raft is complete (layer 5)? Or 5 layers into the actual project (layer 10)?

I don't know, but this might be a quick way to test the effect of the raft on layer-based temperature setting issues;

In the per-layer fan controls, set the cooling fan to come on at, say, layer 5, then go off at layer 7. Then watch to see when it actually starts and stops running.

That's a good test. I'll give it a shot shortly.

Layer 5 in fan control is layer 5 from the build plate. if you want layer 5 of your model then you must account for the size of the raft.

So basically, the Temp and Cooling settings are layers from the build plate... regardless whether its the model or raft.

You're welcome, and yes! any numbered layer settings are from the build plate unless it's a process with an adjusted start height.
