firmware X3G extruder settings

hiya everyone,

I need to ask about the step/mm settings in the firmware config under X3G tab.

I need to change and maintain a new value in the extruder steps/mm but when ever I go back to that menu, it's back to what it used to be.

saving it doesn't save, export then using it from the drop down menu the X3G part disappears and I can't confim if the settings are there.

at present I have to re-enter the value prior to every print. if I forget the print fails badly.

any help appreciated

the same problem exists in that topic to though. but no confirmation. any one confirm the X3G is still within the firmware profile?

I can confirm. I used JoeJ's first suggestion and it worked flawlessly.

1) Click "edit process settings", go to G-Code tab, and disable the "update firmware configuration" options (as this is what is overriding your settings with the stock firmware config). If you disable the override then your settings won't change.
