Spike in Perimeter During Slicing

I'm getting a weird error where the middle outline of 3 outer shell perimeters has a small spike that penetrates outside the outer shell. I've included a screengrab showing the build preview at that specific layer to be able to see what is going on. Any ideas what the cause for this is and how to fix it?

Re: Spike in Perimeter During Slicing

Hi mitchfx ,

I frequently see this type of error with model irregularities. I'd recommend running it through this (https://modelrepair.azurewebsites.net/) and re-slicing.

I hope this helps you get better results. Let me know if You have more trouble with this print.

Another good repair tool is 3D Builder, but it is a "modern" application and require Windows 8 or 10. Since it runs locally it is a lot more convenient than the cloud service.
