Hello together,
at our factory, we are using Simplify3D in combination with a German RepRap X400 Pro since a few weeks. After some test prints and calibration, I get realy good prints within less then +-0,1mm.
But there is one problem I wasn't able to solve up to now, also Google wasn't answering my querstion:
The first layer is printed approximatly 0,3-0,4mm wider then the upper layers. So a test cube with 20mm will have around 20,7mm at the bottom. I can't say for shure if its only happening in the first layer, or 2-3 layers. Its a ramp from 20,7mm to 20mm, ramp down ends at last at layer 3 (0,2mm layer height).
My first attemp was to recalibrate the bed, but it was OK and nothing changed. First Layer width is set to 100%.
What could be the problem, which setting may safe the issue? If I print with raft, the parts are OK. But it would be much better if we don't have to remove the raft on every single part..
