Why would you want to manually adjust your steps/mm on a CTC? CTC is pre-configured and just a clone of a replicator 1 or replicator dual. If your having issues related to steps/mm I would be willing to bet you have selected a rep2 or rep2x profile somewhere. There is a one tooth difference on the drive gears between the two printers, if you select the wrong profile you will be 6% off on your dimensions. Your CTC printer is a clone of the replicator dual and regardless of what color the outside is, what material it is made of, and unfortunately what CTC itself has marketed, it is certainly not the closed source, copyrighted, trademarked rep2.neop5 wrote:Hello all,
i have the same issue.
@C-line: did you find a solution?
If anybody knows how to update the steps per mm settings directly on a CTC (Flashforge copy) with Sailfish 7.7 a short hint would be fine.
Thanks in advance,

I am using the latest 3.0.2 version of the software and the X3G tab doesn't disappear when I select the new firmware profile. So if it does for you, make sure you upgrade to the latest version. If you follow my instructions at the top of this thread, then the software will use the custom steps/mm settings you defined. I'm guessing the GPX profile is grayed out because it isn't using the stock Replicator 1 settings, it is using your modified values. I just tested it this morning and it works correctly following those instructions with version 3.0.2.C-line wrote:I have adjusted my steps per mm settings on the X3G tab and exported my revised firmware profile with a new name, NEW.FRM
But when I select this profile, the X3G tab is gone. If I want to further tweak my settings I have to go back to the default profile and re-export. Why?
Then, when I go to the G-Gode tab in my process settings and select NEW.FRM for the Firmware type, the GPX profile box is grayed out. Is the process using the revised X3G steps per mm settings I exported? Is it using the grayed out GPX profile?
