I've uploaded the file - even at 60% infill the actual infill is choppy and sometimes not even laid down. The top shows a lot of very ugly holes. I tried this, but I kept getting the same troubles. It is really irritating, since I just printed the same file on MatterControl (a free slicer) and the top had absolutely no holes.jimc wrote:looked at your process. few things are probably contributing to this. #1 you extrusion width is set to the same dia as your nozzle. with rectilinear infill, which prints every other layer your infill extrusions are just many little bridges so with your extrusion width set so low your infill will look all broken. bump that up to maybe .45 or higher. #2 with rectilinear infill you should bump up your infill extrusion width a little. this will extrude more material and help with the bridging across the small infill grid. bring the infill width up just a little to 125%. you know your temps on your machine better than any of us but i would maybe consider trying to bump up the temp 10 deg to 220. if you like the square style infill then try grid. its rectilinear but printed on every layer. it will give you less trouble but you will also need to turn up the % of infill to equal the same grid size.
