Preserve outer wall

Hi
I am just trying to use Simplify3D (coming from using the Cube Software) and I am having trouble with some of my parts
When I print them on the cube they work fine, but when I load them in Simplify and view the print preview it shows some areas of the outer wall missing, when I guess it thinks it was to thin?? But it doesn't do that in the Cube Software
So my question - is there anyway to tell the settings to preserve the outer wall? So that the outside perimeter prints 100% with no missing bits?

The picture below is the part, its a face and has eye holes, but not open on the side like it is

Any advise would be appreciated

Regards

Re: Preserve outer wall

It looks like the walls are too thin. You can't print features that are smaller than your nozzle size. I would try thickening the 3D model in those places.

Alternatively, you can trick the software to print smaller features by setting a manual extrusion width that is a bit smaller than your nozzle size (i.e. set to 0.35mm for a 0.4mm nozzle).

Thanks Joe
I tried changing the nozzle and that didn't help, so I have been reworking the parts
Its just annoying that the software would see a thin part and say, its too thin so I'm not going to print it
Rather than saying its thin, so it will get the minimum nozzle thickness available - which obviously the cube software does

If you feel strongly about this, then why not have your say here: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=3471

If the development team see how strong feelings are, then they may do something about it!
