Can you run multiple printers off a single S3D license?

I am wondering if it is possible to run 3 printers off the same desktop and each one have its own instance of Simplify3D running on its own COM port?

The T&Cs state:
3. LICENSE GRANT

Simplify3D hereby grants to You a non-exclusive, non-transferable limited license to install and utilize the Software on a concurrent user basis for the Term. You may install the software on multiple computers that You own equal to the number of User Seats (stated earlier in agreement as 2) purchased by You. You are expressly prohibited from sublicensing, selling, renting, leasing, acting as a service bureau for the production of instructions or intermediate output of the Software (but not for the production of physical end products derived from the Software) or otherwise distributing the Software or making any use prohibited by law.
To me, what you propose to do falls within the above license conditions. There's no mention in the license about there being any restrictions on the number of multiple execution of the software on the individual "User Seats"....and my understanding of a "user seat" is a single instance of an operating system being used by a single user.

But there again, I'm no lawyer!! :?

As far as whether its physically possible to have two printers "connected" to two instances of the software running on the same machine....I've no idea. I'm currently using Windows 10.....and I can't even connect to one printer!!!

Yea, just open multiple instances of the software to connect to each computer. I do this all the time on my Windows computer. I've connected to 4 different printers at once before :D

Is there a way to easily switch between printer setups? I have 2 drastically different printers and would like to save one configuration for each. Currently I just run the "Configuration Wizard" each time I want to switch.

The choosing the profile from the "Select Profile" drop down is enough. When you click OK, it will automatically apply firmware and machine settings (configurable on the G-Code tab). No need to keep using the config assistant. You only need to use that the very first time you use a new printer.

Using version 3.02. I am trying to configure 3 printers. This seems to be difficult to configure in S3D, whereas slic3r makes it easy. There is a Machine tab in the S3D Options menu, but no way of adding new machines to a list. I read on this forum that the way to define an additional printer was to run the Configuration Assistant again, so I did. But all the processes that I set up previously for my other printer disappeared! How can I get them back?

What is needed is a clear and transparent way of handling multiple machines, for example:

1. A list of machines configured, which can be viewed, and new entries added, and old ones deleted or edited.
2. A way of selecting which of the configured machines I want to use.

The machine and firmware settings are coupled to the profile. This means that all you need to do is click "Edit Process Settings", and use the Select Profile drop down to select your printer. Then everything is automatically configured.
