Hallo,
As part of an art project, I am printing several frames from an animated figurine, a man taking a pee, and filling up a beer can in the process. Until now the results were reasonable all though fine details can be better (if you have any tips for that....). Until I added a puddle at its feet, modelled with sculpt in C4D. Somehow holes are appearing in the model where the puddle should appear. I don't think it has to do with printer settings because so far I didn't come across problems. In the layer view it is clear to see that the puddle is printed in the air without any infill underneath starting at layer 82634. The program identifies non-manifold edges and self interacting surfaces. But I don't know what to do about that or what it means.
In the pictures you will see a finished model without the puddle. And an unfinished (it was useless to continue) of one with the wrongly printed puddle.
I included a factory file of the beer can bottom with the puddle surface as well as two images that show the model with the figurine in an earlier printed frame from the animation where the puddle doesn't exist yet.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
