The system supports simplify3d is very interesting but I think you can improve. I think you can apply two simple changes:
1) Creation of different support, with different resolution applied to the same object
2) Positioning system support improved, creating a grid on the floor of the virtual printer that allows positioning more accurate .Possibility to align more support, created manulamente along a specific axis value xyz.
3) Creating support manual also in horizontal at horizontal surfaces of the object
