annoying bits

Hi, is it possible to eliminate these annoying bits.
The refraction settings I used are as follows.
1 refraction distance = 2mm
2 extra restart distanc = 0.00 mm
3 retraction verticle lift = 0.20 mm
4 retraction speed = 3025 mm/min
coasting distance = 0.80 mm.
any help here would be very appreciated. Thanks
Tried to upload image, but looks as though it was unsuccessful.

got the image up at last, seems as though it was to large.

Re: annoying bits

Use a higher retraction distance. Those little "branches" are caused by excess plastic oozing out of the nozzle which just happens to deposit in the same place each time since you are likely moving over the same path each time you go to print a new part. You can stop the oozing by retracting more, retracting faster, and also by moving quicker if your machine can handle it.
