support setting for easy removal

Hi,
Can someone tell me which parameter I have to change to make the connection from support to model thinner and thus easier to break/remove?

Thanks in advance!

You want to set vertical seperation layers to 1. Although if your supports are primarily off of the build bed you can set the lower value to 0 and the upper to 1. The supports barely connect to the part this way but will still stick to the build bed.

If you have a mixture of build bed to part and part to part supports, you can create multiple processes and start and stop layer settings to alter the seperation layers depending on where you are in the model. For part to part supports you want both the top and bottom seperation layers set to 1.

The only thing you have to watch out for is the potential for air printing increases, so when you use this feature it's best to use smaller layer heights (.2 or less) in my experience.
