speed override on size of model

as the title says

speed override on size of model, because at some layer of a small print it will still speed up, and this mostly not means beter quality.

so it would be beter if you could scale the speed on the amount of cm3 a model has.

as you can se here the printer speeds up at several point in the prints

Re: speed override on size of model

The "speed overrides" on the Cooling tab adjust the printing speed based on the time that the layer takes to print. That's the best metric to use, since that determines how much time the plastic has to cool. Obviously, small layers will print quicker, so this will also have an impact for small features.

You can control those settings by adjusting the maximum slowdown that you will allow ("allow speed reductions down to XXX seconds"), and also the layer time where you start adjusting things ("adjust printing speed for layers below XXX seconds"). If that option is enabled, it will slow down the print for smaller layers.
