Question for you Simplify3D gurus, dual extrusion

I am doing some dual extrusion by having one extruder print from height 0 to 1.75mm then the other extruder starts at 1.76mm and finishes the print.

My question is this, is there a way I can have the nozzle not heat up until around height 1.5mm that way in the beginning of the print the heat from that nozzle is not affecting what is being put down. Then at 1.76mm to the end I can shut off the first nozzle?

You could try to make 2 processes and use the per-layer temperature controls. Just make sure to start warming up the second extruder towards the end of the first process, and then turn off the first extruder when the second process starts.
