Problem with gaps between "shapes"

Hello.
I am trying to print https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:795952 (The 3D Printed Marble Machine #2) but have a problem with the slicing between "shapes". The "feet" will not blend with the base. Its the same problem that Chuck, has on his chess piece in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNM34ldvZ-0 (see at 3:12)

Any idea on how to fix this? I am on version 3.0.0, on a mac, with flashforge creator pro 3D-printer.

Attach your factory file so we can take a look (File > Save Factory File)

Re: Problem with gaps between "shapes"

At a guess from the very brief description of the issue, I think this may be cured by using the "Separate Connected Surfaces" option on the Mesh dropdown menu.

Using this option may add one or more items to the model list. If it does, then the problem may be solved.

If not, attach a factory file as requested....
