Need help setting up Simplify 3D with Robo R1 Plus model.

Good afternoon everyone.
I recently purchased Simplify 3D specifically for the easily removable support material.
Unfortunately, Simplify 3D is not as simple as I thought to setup, and I've found no guides to setting up the Robo R1 Plus.
Does anyone have any profiles, presets, or configuration files I would be able to use?
I found a FFF process file for the Robo R1, and attempted to use it; It came out quite poorly, with the support material penetrating the deformed object.
I've tried adjusting many settings, and I'm quite confused on what to do.
I'd really appreciate any tips, advice, or settings I could get.
Below is the image of the failed print, using ABS, with a raft and support material. The object was intended to be a sphere, in which I could break away from the support material.

Well, I would start with the Robo3D R1 settings that they already have in the configuration assistant. I would also recommend testing with a simpler model first. Printing a sphere on top of support material is a pretty tough print to start with, so it's going to be hard to pinpoint exactly what settings need to change.

Print something like a simple 20mm cube first and then see how that looks. That will make it much easier to adjust the settings until the cube looks good. Then start moving on to a more complex model.

I discovered another users FFF file for his Robo R1 Plus, and everything was working great for a few hours..

Now I'm getting the following message:
"WARNING: Firmware unresponsive. Attempting to force continue..."
It will freeze, then continue X seconds later; Occasionally it will extrude well past the intended stopping point as well.
I've tried adjusting the baud rate, changing COMM ports (Printing via USB), communication timeout, flow control, etc..
I've even tried multiple computers, cables.
I heard that using an SD card can fix this issue, yet, I've had no luck printing via SD with Simplify3D..

What's the process for printing via SD card?
I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
I've written the file onto the SD card, then tried;
Turning off printer, and turning it on with SD card in the printer.
Starting print via USB with SD card in printer.
And so on.
Whenever I unplug the PC, it stops the print.

I'd really appreciate some direction and assistance with this issue.

I have figured out how to print via SD card, with the Robo R1 and Simplify 3D.
For anyone else whom may have issues figuring it out, below I've written how to do so.
All you need is Simplify3D, and Matter Control.

Instructions for SD card printing
You just need to slice the STL and save the Gcode on the micro SD while it’s in your computer. Then place the SD into the printer while it’s connected to Matter Control. Go to Queue Options and select Load SD Files. After that you should see the Gcode files come up in your Queue. Now you can select one and start printing. At this point you can unplug the printer USB cable and it should continue to print until finished.
