Machine Options and saving the orientation orientation

Hello,

I have a Maker Farm 10" printer so I used the Configuration wizard to set it up. With my Printer, X and Y home are in the back and to the right. Simplify 3D always opens up with it front and to the left (as if I were watching the printer from behind). I found the check boxes on the Tools-Option menu (tab "Machine") and was able to change the orientaion, but when I close and re-open, the orientation is back to default. I tried saving it in a profile, But that does not do the trick either...It's not really a profile option. Lastly, I re-ran the configuration wizard to start over hoping it would be in there...it is not.

Is there anyway to save the X,Y,Z orientation for my Printer?

If not...To the software designers...The Maker Farm works great with your software...Let's somehow get it added to the list.

Thanks For any help.

Re: Machine Options and saving the orientation orientation

First of all, the home location is NOT necessarily the same as the ORIGIN location. Simplify3D places the XYZ indicated at the ORIGIN. For example, you firmware might be setup to home the printer at the max endstops, in which case the home location does not match the origin location. So you should be aware of that before messing with those settings.

And for how to save those changes if you're using the build dimension overrides, this explains it very well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYPUAqT4UyI
