Configuration Assistant keeps creating unnecessary FFF's

So I use Simplify3D to control 2 different machines, a Lulzbot Taz 4 and an Airwolf HD2X.

Switching from one to the other is easy with the Configuration Assistant. It automatically resizes the plate and tells the software everything it needs to know about the machine. My problem is that every time I switch back and forth to a different machine, the Configuration Assistant automatically imports a new FFF process into the process menu, even if there is already an unchanged default process for that machine in the list.

So basically, I switch to the TAZ 4, and it creates a process called "Lulzbot Taz 4". Great, that makes sense. Then I switch to control my Airwolf, and it creates the "Airwolf HD2X" profile. Then I switch back to the TAZ, and it creates a process called "Lulzbot Taz (1)", then "Lulzbot Taz (2)", and so on until my list just keeps getting bloated with more and more useless profiles that make it hard to find the custom-edited one.

Is there any way to disable this behavior, or I guess some easy way to bypass the Configuration Assistant?

Re: Configuration Assistant keeps creating unnecessary FFF's

Why are you switching using the configuration assistant? Once you have used the assistant to get your base profiles for your printers, just choose which profile to use when slicing, depending on which printer you want to use. If you have "Update machine configuration" checked (the G-code tab), then the profile will update the settings under Tools / Firmware Configuration automatically.

You can even add profiles for both printers to a single print, but then you will have to make a choice which one you want when you start slicing.
