Hello,

Would it be possible to add first layer setting to this feature or have it use the setting in layer tab? I am finding that my first layer when using this function is just not sticking to the bed reliably. When in preview mode you can see the first layer is not being squashed.

It already uses the first layer settings from the Layer tab. If you look through the gcode, you can see that it matches what the rest of the part does on the first layer.

If that is so then why does the preview window not show this?

I have attached a screen capture where I have set the first level width to 300% and you can see that the outer skirt and support material are wider on the first level compared to the inner green first level of the ooze shield.

Is this a bug in preview?

I can't see your screenshot. Either way, you would really need to post your factory file if you want help with this. It will be too hard to help just by looking at a picture.

Also, it probably shouldn't be in the feature requests section
