PrintrBot Simple Metal configuration problem

I'm trying to set up Simplify3D for my PrintrBot Simple Metal and there's something screwy with my machine configuration. The location that it tries to print on the bed doesn't match the screen. I'm trying to print a simple 75mm disk in the center of the bed and here's what I'm getting out (definitely not centered and clipping on two sides, note that the extruder has been moved to the home position):

The S3D screen shows this (which looks right):

The machine control panel screen looks like this after homing (which all looks right to me):

My machine settings in the profile look like this:

Note on that last dialog that I had to change the settings that defaulted in when I selected the built-in PrintrBot Simple Metal profile. It has the Homing Dir for the Y axis at Min instead of Max. Assuming that I'm no misunderstanding something, the Y axis homes to it's extreme positive location.

Obviously I've got some sort of software setting out of whack -- can anyone point me in the right direction?

Re: PrintrBot Simple Metal configuration problem

That has to be a firmware problem. The software is never going to clip the edges like you're showing in that picture. But if you have the firmware settings incorrect, the firmware could easily do that.

Re: PrintrBot Simple Metal configuration problem

Thanks Carl! You were correct that it was a firmware issue. I had replaced the controller board and the new one had some very odd settings in the firmware. Once I figured out and changed to the right settings, it started working correctly. Thanks for the help!
