Flashforge and Speed

I have two Flashforge printers, creator and pro. I'd like to try to get as much speed out of them as possible at each quality. The default in Simplify 3D is 3600mm/sec. Has anyone tweaked this? What speeds are you able to successfully print? I only use ABS.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Flashforge and Speed

I am currently printing ABS at 2000. First layer at 45%. My temp is 230 and 85. Layer height 125%, layer width is 100%. I started at 3600 and slowed down until the layers stopped tearing.

Re: Flashforge and Speed

My last ABS print as of last night printed on high settings, with support, no raft, layer height of 0 .10 on glass build plate.

1st layer height: 90%
1st layer width: 100%
1st layer speed: 50%
230c and 110c

Speeds:
3600mm/min
50%
80%
4200mm/min
1200mm/min

Print finished in 4 hours with fantastic results.
