My friend uses Simplify3D with his M3D nearly every day. It does all of the model processing and slicing and works wayy better than the stock software.
Once you create the print files from Simplify3D, you still have to use the M3D spooler app through, since the company uses a closed off communication system for their printers.
thanks for answer
yes i know about the spooler, i tried many things and sometimes the printer starts working
but then everytime something goes wrong.
maybe your friend can help
thanks
Please help me get this to work. I have simplify3d and m3d printer. I don't know how to get to work together. I have the latest spooler software from m3d and tried loading gcode and it didn't do anything.
All you do is export the .gcode file from Simplify3D, then open the M3D spooler from the system tray. Once the spooler is open, click "Add Print Job" and select the .gcode file. Then click OK through the different confirmation dialogs to begin the print.
What version of the m3d spoiler are you using cause it is not working like that. I have the latest version of m3d software. First there is no add print job button, there is open model and when I select a code it doesn't load. I did find in settings under expert controls Goode and a print from code button, but when I click that and choose the code file nothing happens. Please and thank you for your help.
