First Layer Height - What am I missing?

So I just purchased and downloaded the software. I'm trying to do my first print, but I seem to be making an error setting the layer height.

The default nozzle for my printer is 0.35mm, the first thing I did was change the nozzle diameter to 0.3mm

I went into Layer and set the primary layer height at 0.2mm.

I set the first layer height at 80%.

When I generated the G-Code and tried to print, it looked a little high. My printer is registering the first layer Z height at 0.3mm.

I went in and checked the G-Code and sure enough it said layer 1 - Z = 0.3

Layer 2 is apparently 0.675

Am I missing something? Please help a newbie!

Do you have a Z-axis offset?

Also, if you just post your factory file, people could provide much better suggestions instead of just wildly guessing ;)

Re: First Layer Height - What am I missing?

Sorry, I wasn't sure how to attach a file. I had some screenshots.

Anyhow I played with this last night and determined that I was using a raft and that the initial raft layers were .3mm and .37mm.

So I'm curious if this is normal? I didn't find a place to change the raft layer height. Since it was equal to the nozzle height a found it odd. I thought you needed it to be less than the nozzle height for good adhesion.
