Major Problems with Version 2

I have a number of significant problems with version 2 over the previous version.

1. With version 2 after a few minutes of printing, printing stops. The same model in the previous version does not exhibit this behavior.

2. The slicer in version 2 incorrectly slices the model by adding a "roof" to a model that does not have one. Previous version does not do this.0

I also believe there is a problem with rafts which print an extremely thick first layer, but I need to investigate this further once I can get it to print for more than a couple of minutes.

I am using Repetier firmware with both versions.

david, go under the other tab in your fff settings. in the slicing behavior window make sure that the "heal" box is checked and the "merge all outlines into solid model" is unchecked. the merge setting could be the cause of the roof on your model. why your printer is stopping im not sure. it might help to post up your fff settings file and you gcode file. this way maybe someone here with more gcode knowledge than me can look at it and see what is going on. i know i have had that happen a couple times in the past and it ended up being a small error in the model. try putting the model into netfab and see if it finds anything wrong.
