S3D Crashes on Load of STL in Mac

My copy of S3D crashes when I load an STL, any STL, as soon as I click on it to load. Running on OSX 10.9.5 on an iMac. Crashes and displays the SPLAT screen which is indicating a bad address. I have tried the magic reset and it did not work. I have de installed and re installed and that did not work. I have looked for pieces of S3D that might be remaining behind after a de install and have deleted what I have found but that has not worked.

Can someone please help? I sent a message to technical support end of last week and have not heard anything. Meanwhile I can't use my primary computer for printing!

I am assuming that S3D is leaving stuff behind on the de install and if I could delete it I would be back on the air...I just can not find it?

Thanks

That's odd. Does it happen with every file or just some specific ones? Have you tried importing the file in a few different ways (File > Import Models, drag-and-drop onto screen, double-click on .stl file, open a factory file, etc).

I have the same OS and haven't ever noticed any problems

Re: S3D Crashes on Load of STL in Mac

'Def very odd. It was blowing up on loading a model regardless of how. It is now fixed no thanks to S3D support who still have not answered my ticket from the end of last week. Even more odd that the fix was to select the Ultimaker 2x as my printer, then load a profile from the Ultimaker 2, and then it worked again magically. All I needed from support was for them to tell me where they hide configuration stuff so I could delete it. I tried finding it but had no luck. I love the software, and have two copies of it, but expected a little better from support.
