Pause on layer in post processing GCode doesn't work

Help,,,

I'd swear I have this right, but it just doesn't work.

Lastest S3D, using the Microcenter Creator Pro

I'm using S3D post processing

All I want to do is pause the printer so I can change the filament color. (I've put just prior to layer 2 here for testing, but actually need layer 16)

From the posts I've seen, this looks like what I am supposed to be using

(Oh, and I'm printing from the left head, not the right one, if that makes any difference)

Help..

{STRIP "; postProcessing,"}
{REPLACE "; layer 2," "M0\n; layer 2,"}

I'm assuming that this will pause at the end of layer 1, just before starting layer 2

I've also seen to 1st home the head, prior to pausing. I've got a cooler close to the front left, not sure if that's home or the back right. So if someone can add the commands to home to the back right, that would be awesome.

Some Star Wars Coasters await patiently for an answer.

Thanks.

Well, disappointed that no one chimed in, but found out that this apparently is a known issue with Flashforge Creator Pro's and clone.

The M0 is not supported.

You need to use the M322 command

Such as "M322 Z3.2

Which would pause the pring at 3.2mm

Re: Pause on layer in post processing GCode doesn't work

I use a MicroCenter PowerSpec Pro and a FlashForge Creator Pro.
I just set z pause manually on the machine rather than coding it.
When you start a print, scroll down in the menu system for Z Pause.
Set your pause. When it pauses you can scroll in the menu system for filament load/unload.
Change your filament, then scroll back to unpause.
All done manually through the machines interface.

Sadly I recently purchased the PowerSpec Ultra (FlashForge Dreamer "clone").
Which does not have these manual controls.
I have been looking for a way to pause and change filaments.
I would be great if that was an option in Simplify3D. Since I have no idea how to code.

Well did you try using the M322 command as was mentioned in the post right above yours?
