A different startup purge

Well I just got a spankin new hbp for my Replicator 2 and it completely fills the space that the print head will go to. So when I start a print the filament that S3d sends out to clean out the nozzle now hits the bed plate. I have no more room to position it off of the plate. Is there another script to make a different cleaning / purging of the nozzle or just shut off that purge all together? I can just print a skirt to prime the nozzle. Thanks.

Re: A different startup purge

I erased the words "purge nozzle" from the startup script and I still got the plastic purge at the beginning. Was wondering if anyone knows which line of code controls the initial purge of plastic? Thanks.

It would probably be good to learn how to read basic gcode. The question you are asking can be answered pretty easily, even if you just learn one command (G1 is used for all movements and primes).

This was a good link when I got started: http://reprap.org/wiki/G-code

Re: A different startup purge

Yup. I erased the whole line of code and it stopped purging. Thanks.
