Corner banding issue

Hello,

I seem to get weird what looks to be z-banding in the corners. Not sure what direction to head with now as I've tried quite a few different things. I've just been told its probably calibrating my esteps in x and y, but if anyone else has any input that would be great too while I try that

Re: Corner banding issue

Could be some Z-banding there, but it also looks like it may just be your start/stop points. Have you tried adjusting retraction settings, extra restart distance, coasting, things like that?

They have a quality guide section on blobs that you can use as a good starting point.

Not sure if this helps, I have tried retraction settings but not restart distance or coasting

Re: Corner banding issue

I can't tell which direction that perimeter was printed in just from looking at the picture. So if you read their guide on this (https://www.simplify3d.com/support/prin ... s-and-zits), it's important to know if the blob forms at the beginning or end. So watch closely while it is printing.
