Ending Script for Safe Head Return

Hi all,
I am trying to compile an ending script to make the extruder return home safely.
I have a Reprap i3 and my thoughts on the perfect ending script are as follows;

Turn off Extruder
Turn off Bed
Retract filament 1mm (or more to relieve stress on the nozzle and prevent ooze)
Move Z Axis up 10mm
X-Axis Home
Y-Axis Home
Z-Axis Home
Disable Motors

I have referenced the thread: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1959&start=10
But was not able to compile a successful script.
Can someone write up a script like this?

It would probably be really useful to learn some simply gcode. That way you can customize these scripts yourself. There's literally only 5 commands you would even need to look at for that script (hint: M104, M140, G28, G1, and M18)

This link was really useful as a resource when I was learning: http://reprap.org/wiki/G-code

I'm Not sure you want to home the Z axis after a print. You could hit the part with the carriage if the print is tall enough.

Thank you CompoundCarl for the link this is great!

So far I am at this code which seems to be working well raising the Z-Axis after print.
M104 S0 ; turn off extruder
M140 S0 ; turn off bed
G91 ; relative mode
G1 Z5 E-2 F3000 ; raise nozzle 5mm and take pressure off the extruder
G90 ; absolute mode
M84 ; disable motors

Thanks Heutinuk I was thinking the same thing. I think I will just home the Y-Axis to get the Head out of the way.

Thanks for your help all!
