Robo R1 Plus setting for Simplify3d

My issues is that i have a robo r1 plus and I purchase simplify3d to use with it, but the robo r1 plus isn't on the list to choose from in the software, its just for the robo r1. In any case I'm having a great deal off issues trying to get a successful print from this, but whenever i use the matter control software my prints do come good. Could any please help me getting my robo r1 plus to work with simplify3d.

Thank you

If you want help, it would probably be good to describe exactly what problems you are having. Why are the prints not successful? Can you post pictures?

Re: Robo R1 Plus setting for Simplify3d

I think that the reason why my prints aren't successful with simplify3d is because my settings are using the default of the robo r1 - keep in mind I'm fairly new to this whole process. I guess I'm also looking for the correct FFF profile.
As for the prints i don't have any pictures this second, but the prints come out stringy, and sometimes the hotend is too far from the bed.

Re: Robo R1 Plus setting for Simplify3d

Well if the nozzle is too far from the bed, that's an easy fix. Just adjust the global Z-axis offset on the G-Code tab. For example, setting that value to -0.05mm would move the nozzle 0.05mm closer to the bed.

For the stringy prints, that can be highly dependent on what filament you are using, so it's not uncommon to need to make a few adjustments in that area as well. They have a great tutorial on both of these topics actually:
