Slicing mistake - gaps wrongly filled with bridge

I've created a model with Fusion 360, and it seems that Simplify3D does a slicing mistake. The model has a few holes, and S3D fills these wrongly with a single layer thick bridge. The Makerbot Slicer and Cura don't have an issue - they also don't report an error. I also checked with Blender, if the mesh has manifold problems, but it seems to be clean. What's going wrong here?

Re: Slicing mistake - gaps wrongly filled with bridge

This usually means there a section of the mesh that the software is having trouble with. Try adjusting where the software "slices" the model by changing something like the first layer height (i.e. change from 100% to 101%) or the layer height (change from 0.2mm to 0.2001mm). These changes will slightly change the position where the software slices the model, which may allow it to miss the troublesome area.

As Carl has suggested, making a tiny change will make the slicer work. Change your layer thickness to 0.1001.....and it will slice okay!
