Problems on length filament/weight

Hi!

I am using S3D a couple of weeks, and i started using Cura.

Something that i don't understand is why, on the same parameters, S3D "eats" almost doble quantity of plastic as Cura. Is this examples (see attachment) is another thing a little strange: The weight from the same model (same scale) is different in both softwares, putting the same 25% infill in a rectilinear grid.

Can someone explain me what happens?

You cant take settings from one piece of software and plug them into another and expect the same results. There is tons of math involved in this. For it to be the same then every algoritm in each program would have to be exactly the same. S3d will not give you the exact same print as cura.
