Nozzle/Head bed

Hallo,

I'm Thomas . I'm a newbie in 3D Printing and i hope my english is not to bad :S.
I've got a 3D Printer ( Delta Rostock clone) with a fixed head bed. Now i'm in trouble :( :How can I set with SF3D the distance between nozzle and head bed?
In repetierhost i have no problems with this ( firmware ->z-length) but i have no idea how i can do this in SF3D. The z-axis is 420mm but the build volume on the z-axis only 375mm. What i have to do?

Thank you in advance

Re: Nozzle/Head bed

When you set the Z-length in the firmware, that should be saved into the EEPROM, so you should not need to set it again. Usually you only need to calibrate that setting once when you are first setting up the 3D printer.

After you have already done that, then you should be able to use the global Z-axis offset setting on the G-Code tab in S3D to make small adjustments to the position of the nozzle. For example, entering 0.1mm for that setting would move the nozzle 0.1mm further away from the bed.
