I use Simply 3D with both my printers, a Flashforge Dreamer and a Micro M3D.
On the Dreamer everything works perfect! Prints are so so nice!
On the Micro M3D, not so perfect.
It prints, the 3Dbenchy came out "ok", but there are issues.
The biggest is that the print paused every now and then. From what it looks like the printer is thinking about how to do the g-code instruction, this was pretty common back on the RepRap units when driving them to fast. Maybe the speeds and instructions S3D it using are simply to quick for the printer to keep up? The result of these pauses are blobs of plastic.
Second is that circles do not come out as circles at all. One issue is backlash in the gantry, makes for flat spots on the edges. But many round objects tend to be warped.
If you look at the attached picture it is pretty weird.
On the rectangle, the infill is ok, diagonals with even spacing. But the circles for the holes are way off.
On the circle the infill is again pretty ok. But the outline and circle is pretty bad.
I'm not saying it's due to a fault in S3D, but I have to start trying to sort this out in one end..
Any suggestions?
